Kraig and Anne Elliott
Kraig and Anne Elliott 2024

Kraig Elliott

Kraig was born in California, to parents who were United States church planters. They planted churches in California and in Houston, Texas, where Kraig lived from the age of five until he graduated from high school.

He attended Summit University (formerly Baptist Bible College of PA) for four years, where he married Anne in 1993. He felt the call of God to work with teenagers in public education, so Kraig and Anne moved to Florida and continued his education to become a teacher and football coach at Florida Gulf Coast University.

He spent the next ten years in public education as a teacher, counselor and high-school vice principle, as well as a football coach. They lived in Florida, Missouri, Arizona, and Iowa. During that time, he worked with local churches in a variety of ministries, leading youth, teaching all ages, leading music, preaching, and coordinating missions and evangelism.

God called him into the pastorate, and he pastored a Baptist church in southern Minnesota for four years, where his study of the Word of God led him to see that he was to obey all of the counsel of God, both Old and New Testaments, and that it was all applicable to their lives. Since leaving the pastorate, Kraig and his wife have been working to support families by writing Torah-based homeschooling curriculum and parenting materials, and they have felt called to promote the establishment of local congregations in areas where Torah-based believers in Yeshua have no local fellowship.

Kraig has seven children, two cats, and he loves spending time with his family and going on dates with his wife. He loves having company over to his house, and of course, he is an avid football lover, also enjoying hockey and lacrosse. He enjoys woodworking and interior design, reading and discussing history and military strategy, and best of all, discussing theology for hours at a time.

Greg and Deb Schwab 2022

Greg Schwab

Greg was born and raised in Michigan. Growing up on his family dairy farm as one of five siblings, he learned to be a very hard worker. Graduating from Ionia in 1969, he then went to Ferris State College to receive his degree in architectural drafting.

His career path began with home construction in Ionia until his marriage to Deb in 1973. His career changed in 1976 when he went to work for a design and sales company in Lansing, where he spent 35 years as a kitchen and bath designer for hundreds of people, winning national awards for his beautiful designs. His love for design and beauty of wood continued in his wood shop after retirement. Building, repairing, and refinishing pieces for others gives him joy.

Greg and Deb have four daughters and one son who have blessed them with 14 grandchildren. They both enjoy family camping trips, attending grandchildren’s sporting events, gardening, tending their fruit trees, and antique hunting.

Greg’s love for the fellowship is evident in how well he cares for the other men with encouragement and prayer.

Zac and Melissa Crater 2026

Zac Crater

Zac is a true Michigander, born in Big Rapids and raised in Lakeview. Growing up in a family construction business, he developed a strong work ethic early on, learning carpentry alongside his father and gaining practical skills that still shape his hands-on approach to life and leadership.

He met his wife in the summer of 2012, and they were married in January 2014. Together they are the joyful and busy parents of six children. Zac considers leading his family in the ways of Scripture to be his highest calling and greatest responsibility. Shepherding his children in the biblical path is not simply something he values — it is central to who he is.

Zac comes from a Christian background and has a deep love for studying the Word. A natural researcher, he enjoys reading and learning simply for the joy of understanding. He values thoughtful theological discussion and seeks to follow and keep the Torah with integrity. Logical and analytical by nature, he appreciates when things are grounded in reason and clarity.

Though often reserved, Zac’s life and heart for the Word naturally open doors for him to reach others with the message of Scripture. His life and witness have led several family members and coworkers to choose salvation and faith in their Messiah, along with walking in the commands of their Heavenly Father.

He has a particular love for numbers—from mathematics and calculations to computer coding—and is well-rounded in a variety of fields and topics. In his younger years, he played guitar and sang in a garage band, and he still enjoys music. When time allows, he enjoys Bible study, basketball, boxing, bike riding, and spending time with his family.

Zac brings to Solel Sabbath Fellowship a steady moral compass, a thoughtful mind, and a heart committed to faithful obedience to Yehovah. We are grateful for his leadership and service among us.
