Solel Sabbath Fellowship celebrates each of the Appointed Times of YHVH together as a congregation. We follow the sighting of the new moon from Jerusalem to determine our feast dates and the sighting of the Aviv barley in Israel to determine which month should be the first month of the new year.
Our congregation follows the sighting of the new moon and the aviv barley from Israel to determine the new year and the feast dates. The barley was sufficiently aviv so that the priest could wave a sheaf as the firstfruits offering during the upcoming feast, so the new year can be therefore determined. We have also received a new moon report from Israel (Sunday, March 30, 2025), and want to shout out a happy new year to you all.
