Solel Sabbath Fellowship celebrates each of the Appointed Times of YHVH together as a congregation. We follow the sighting of the new moon from Jerusalem to determine our feast dates and the sighting of the aviv barley in Israel to determine which month should be the first month of the new year.
Fall Feasts 2024
The following are the potential dates of the fall feasts, depending on the sighting of the new moon in Jerusalem at the beginning of the 7th month. Keep in mind that if the moon is not seen on September 4, all dates will be pushed back by one day.
- New Moon Sighting – September 4, 2024
- Yom Teruah – Thursday, September 5, 2024 (beginning at sunset the evening before)
- Yom Kippur – Saturday, September 14, 2024 (beginning at sunset the evening before)
- 1st Day of Sukkot – Thursday, September 19, 2024 (beginning at sunset the evening before)
- 8th Day of Sukkot – Thursday, September 26, 2024 (beginning at sunset the evening before)
